The world famous city of Beverly Hills is its own city within Los Angeles County. While known for its world class shopping on Rodeo drive and surrounding streets, Beverly Hills also happens to be a very family oriented community. The wide palm tree lined streets boast larger lots for the homes with beautiful front and backyard spaces. The city is served by the very high ranking Beverly Hills Unified School District.
The land, once used to farm lima beans, was incorporated into Beverly Hills in 1914 by a group of investors who had been searching for oil in the area. When they didn’t find oil, but found water instead, they decided to build a town.
